Deecon developed and implemented the contracting and delivery strategy for Gatwick Airport’s Civils CAPEX packages. This included the design and governance of sustainable and effective workflows for Gatwick’s internal team.

The Solution

Deecon worked side-by-side with Gatwick’s internal team to pioneer various contract forms, before developing the recommended form through to a successfully negotiated contract. Governance throughout the contract life cycle allowed Deecon to deploy specialist resources at every stage of development.  

Our programme management and stakeholder relationship management was instrumental in winning support amongst internal stakeholders to drive beneficial change in Gatwick’s contracting philosophy.  


The Results

  • Improved long-term contracting efficiency by introducing the automation of commercial management
