Project Coordination

Summary

Deecon were engaged to help CityFibre’s Centre of Excellence Department set up, manage, and report on the 36 recommendations which arose as a result of Deecon’s Supply Chain Insight Project in 2021. The 36 recommendations were designed to improve business processes within CityFibre and increase productivity, and quality.

Situation & Approach

The aim of the project was to align the 36 recommendations to CityFibre’s broader strategic roadmap for 2022 and convene all parties to reach consensus on the vision. Deecon managed the transformation roadmap, establishing governance processes required to monitor the programme of work. This included producing weekly reports, which detailed an executive summary of each supplier’s performance, and any potential opportunities or risks which had been identified.

Once key initiatives had been implemented and became BAU processes, the focus shifted to how support initiatives can be utilised to support the suppliers with bespoke improvement plans. Deecon coordinated this programme of work, liaising with key stakeholders to produce business wide reporting on supply chain status, ensuring timelines were met, and benefits were realised.

Deecon utilised their expertise to support across the department, in particular, how best to visualise qualitative and quantitative information, creating dashboards, and facilitating in-person workshops.

Throughout, Deecon demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management skills, including collaborating, and coordinating efforts across the business with a range of seniority levels.

Results

  • Implemented robust governance processes and standardised reporting documentation
